Most existing concrete slabs can be polished, but some may not be suitable. Slabs that are heavily patched, excessively soft, severely cracked, or contaminated with old adhesives may not polish evenly. We perform a test grind before providing a quote to ensure the best possible results.

Polished concrete is a hard, reflective surface, so it can feel cooler underfoot than carpet and may carry more sound. For residential spaces, it is often paired with underfloor heating and soft furnishings to improve comfort and reduce noise.

The gloss level is determined by the final diamond grit used during the polishing process. We typically provide sample panels finished at different grit levels, allowing you to choose the sheen that best matches your style and project requirements.
